London-based artist Polly Morgan gives a unique insight into her work, which has brought taxidermy traditions into a contemporary context.
Saturday 6th September, 13:00 – 15:00
Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery, St Faith’s Street, Maidstone, Kent. ME14 1LH
Her work explores this time-honoured technique combining a curious mix of playful, macabre and surreal. The talk is a fitting addition to the programme at Maidstone Museum, which itself holds 98,000 zoology specimens.
The talk includes a Q&A session with the artist followed by refreshments
