Artist film and video and open projector night

Open projector night and video installations, Union Street, Maidstone, October 2012

As part of  51:Zero Voyager, a Medway Film, Video and Media Festival, Making Art Work hosted a day of Artists’ Film and Video Installations along with an Open Projector Night.  Open projector films were between 30 seconds and 30 minutes in length. The began with a preview of a film by Making Art Work member Korinna McRobertReFraming, 2012 – for full synopsis see here.

This event continued at Stepping Stone Studios during the day and into the evening with scheduled screenings of The Filth and the Fury, by Julien Temple, a film about the Sex Pistols, ending with a party at Stepping Stone Studios, to celebrate 51:Zero Voyager Film Festival’s satellite programme in Maidstone.

51:Zero° Voyager is a Medway and Kent festival proposing a programme of film, video and digital media arts including screenings, exhibitions, ‘Open projector’ for artists and filmmakers, discussions, talks and workshops. The 2012 edition is running events in Whitstable, Maidstone, Rochester and Chatham.
